What is IVT Studio?
IVT Studio is a self-service system that puts the power of webcasting directly in users’ hands, allowing anyone to create webcasts. It is deigned to easily capture and synchronize video, audio, PowerPoint, and other rich media, to enable non-media content experts to create their own professional webcasts with minimal-to-no-training.
Once IVT Studio projects are completed, they are automatically published, making them instantaneously available for viewing and tracking. Studio gives users the power to create and publish professional presentations and on-the-go presentations for your iPod or other digital media player. The possibilities are endless.

Downloading / Installing
What are the requirements to run IVT Studio?
- 1.0 GHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent
- Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
- 512MB RAM
- 25 MB free hard disk space to install Studio plus media storage (recommend at least 1GB free disk space)
- 1024x768 or higher resolution
- Windows Media Player version 6.4 or higher
- USB Webcam or standard computer microphone for audio only
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint version 10 or higher
- High speed Internet connection: DSL or higher recommended
Why don't I receive the account activation email?
If you did't receive the account activation email, it most likely got caught by your email client's spam filter. Look in the spam folder and see if it's in there.

What is the price of IVT Studio?
We have a few predefined packages that are listed here. If none of these meet your needs, you can create your own combination or storage and viewer hours.

How long is the trial?
IVT Studio is free to download and free to use until you run out of the include storage and/or bandwidth. When you run out of storage and/or bandwidth you'll be asked to choose a package for which you will be billed monthly. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
Does the trial include the full IVT Studio functionality?
Yes. During the trial, you will be able to utilize the full functionality, of IVT Studio. After the trial you'll be asked to choose a package for which you will be billed monthly. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
Can I use my IVT Studio account on multiple computers?
Yes. After you install IVT Studio on another machine goto the menu File->Settings and click the blue link which says "I Already Have An Account Not Listed Above". If you are using a free trial account you can should use the following key: c82ed916-9f60-2693-c82d-3d76c7b7b1f6
I received an error message saying I need to install Windows Media Encoder. What should I do?
The IVT Studio installation process will try to install Microsoft's Windows Media Encoder for you. In the event that installation fails, or Windows Media Encoder is uninstalled by some other application, you will need to install Windows Media Encoder by hand. Close Studio and go to the Windows Media Encoder link. Follow the instructions to download and install Windows Media Encoder 9 Series. After installation is complete run Studio as normal.

How do I change my password in IVT Studio?
Passwords can be changed by going to the File | Settings menu item. Under the MediaPlatform Account tab you will see a list of the accounts to which you have access. Select the account for which you wish to change the password and click the edit button next to the dropdown list. In the dialog that appears, click the Change Password button. Enter the old password for the account, then the new password and a confirmation of the new password. If all three boxes have been filled in correctly, your password will be changed when you click the OK button.
How do I change the default email message in IVT Studio?
Custom email text is stored in a file call emailbody.txt in the Studio install folder. If you messed up your email message or just want to revert to the original message, simply delete emailbody.txt
Is there a way to change the start up screen when IVT Studio launches?
You can choose from various startup options. The default is to show the Project Dialog at startup but this can be changed by going to the File | Settings menu item. In the dialog that pops up click the General tab and find the item labeled “At Startup”. You can select from “Show Project Dialog”, Open last opened project” and “Open new blank project” The first two choices are self explanatory. The third choice will open Studio as a video/audio presentation with no synchronization. The project will initially be labeled Untitled-x where x is a unique number. When you save you can give it a different name.
Can I use IVT Studio with existing PowerPoint presentations?
Yes. IVT Studio provides the best way to get existing PowerPoint files to the web for on-demand presentations. Simply select the PowerPoint file from within IVT Studio and sync with audio / video with the click of your mouse. No media experience or technical skills are required.
Where can I track how many viewer hours or storage hours that I have used?
In IVT Studio, go to MediaPlatform -> Status. It is listed in the Accont Status part of this page.
How do you get the link to a published presentation?
Follow these steps to retrieve the URL to a presentation in Studio:
Go to Project | Status
Select the project in the project list.
The URL will be displayed in the Project Status section of the dialog box.

What are the requirements to view IVT Studio presentations?
- P3 400 MHz Pentium Processor or equivalent
- 128 MB of RAM (256 MB Recommended)
- Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.3.9+
- Internet Explorer version 5.01, 5.5 or 6.0+ or Firefox 1.5+
- Windows Media® Player version 6.4 or higher (with IE) OR QuickTime 7 or higher (with IE or Firefox)
- 56K modem
- Note that Windows Media videos do NOT work with Firefox, they should be viewed in IE.
